What a day I had yesterday. I was woken up yesterday with a phone call at about 5.30am.
It was my son ( Donald Jr ) calling to say my daughter in law ( Manuela) was having bad craps. She about 8 months pregnant. My son asked me to take them to the hospital. When I got there they put her in my car and as we pulled out her water broke. I had to make a chose to go to the hospital or go to the fire station.
Well I pick the fire station and thank God the was the right one. They put her in the ambulance right away. We fellow behind.
She had her half way to the hospital. He keep tell her don't push. She told him the head already out. And yes the little one was coming. My son arrived just in time to cut the cord.
Her name is Cynthia Marie Surber. She 6 lb 8 oz. And she the sweetie little one.
Just loved it when she smile at me.
I will try to post picture soon.

I always want a Bee Skep for my Garden. Like the ones you see in country
gardens. So desided to try to make one. I used rope and twine that you buy at
the hardward store. I like how they came out. Now want to try to make a real
big one. One about 24 " high.

Seen this on HGTV. Have to stop watch those show as my husband alway
tell me. It gets me in to mood to change everything.

This one is just a old piece of 2x4 or 4x4. And you will need a 1 1/2 drill
bid and some tealight candles. Cut the piece of wood to the size you would like.
I drill my whole 5 inches apart with the 1 1/2 drill bid. I drill the wholes about 3/4 inches deep. When you are done sand it all down. I brush it down with a little bit of Canola oil from my kitchen. I bring out the color of the wood.
Just a little will do.
I use a paper towel to apply mine. Add the tea lights and you are down.
I enjoy using this at night sitting under the stars in my garden area.
Hope you like my new Trash to treasure.

Sorry I haven't been keep up with my Blog. Been enjoy the great weather we been having.Just want to stay outside all day.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner this weekend with my daughter and her boyfriend and my son and his girlfriend. We had our first bar-b-que of spring and enjoy talking and eating in the fresh air outside . What a joy it was.

I been wanting to make a outhouse for my garden area. One for putting my garden tools in. Finally finished it. I use old wood again. And all it cost me was the screws. I needed to add a moon still.
I do like how it came out. And tools fit just fine.

I wanted more room in my garden. So I added more room and a pond in my garden area too. I seen on TV a lady used a old wheel barrow for the water fall. So I had to try it. I had one already but only had one handle. Oh well. It work just fine. Hope you like my new Trash to treasure.

In my blog I am hoping to share with you my Trash to treasure goodies. My passion is taking old junk and turning it into treasure. I love anything that is old and love it best when it has old paint or is full of rust.

Down below is some of my Trash to Treasure

I made this planter box out of a old ammo box.
You will need a ammo box and 4- 36 inches fence stakes and some screws to attach.
I cut the stake down to to 27 inches. Don't throw away. You will need them to add to side.
Attached the stake to the side of the box with the screws, The points at the top. Take 2 small pieces of wood that you cut off and attached them to the bottom of the stakes.
Now it time to paint. Pick any color to that you love. Than don't forget to sand it down to give it that primitive and old look. Add a clear finish to seal the box. I added a sign that says fresh cut flowers that I had, but you can add anything to give it more color. Now it time to add you flowers. First I put a coco liner that I bought a walmart. It a natural fiber that hold you plants in. You just never know what you can make out to thing you would have throw away.
Let me know if what you have made or come up with.
