It can't hurt to try. I received this from my sister

Mosquito Spray...Worth a try I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone.A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes.. And voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby. During the summer, I don't leave home without it.....Pass it on.
OUR FRIEND'S COMMENTS: I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors. It works - in fact, it killed them instantly. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1.89. It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes. So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don't spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house.
If you try it let me know if it works for you

New project I made. I didn't take picture of the measurement. Sorry I get

in a hurry and forget that part. I'm so good at that.

I use 2 - 4" x 4' piece of wood and a piece of old rusty wire. (Any wire is fine)

I wanted a darker blue so I added black to my Apple Barrel paint True Blue
Just a little black. Not much.

I cut 2 - 4" x 19" for the front and back

1- 4" x 17" for the bottom

2- 4" x 11" for the side. I rounded the top. And added to holes for the wire at the top.

First I added the side to the bottom.
Than you add the front and back to the side.
I painted my box and used a stencil from Homestead Stencil Co
Spray with clear paint.
Added some herbs or plants .
You are ready to display

Have fun

Tuesday Tutorial

Americana Door Mat

Supplies

__________
Wicker Door Mat

( I found mine at the $ store)

Paints- Navy Blue-Red-Cream

5 different color of fabric

a 1/4 yard each.

--------------------------------------------------

First you will have to paint a flag on the Door mat
And let dry.

I usually use homespun fabric because it has print on both sides.

This time I used calico fabric.
While the mat is drying cut all the fabric in 1 inch strips 9" long.

Make a small slit on the fabric and just tear the fabric. So much easier.
or you can cut it. What best for you.
Next tie the strips around the opening on the end.

Alternate the fabric.
Go all away around the mat.

Now go around one more time

On the next line above it.
I know but you can do it while watching TV.

Now your are done. I put mine on my fireplace.

But you can use your anywhere.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial

Have fun .

I wanted to try this before I listed this. I also had my daughter try it too.
It works. OK lady this is something I know . No one like to talk about.
Constipation. I been having it in the worse way.
I hated it. Took colon clearer that did works
but would mess up my stomach. Think of you digestive system as pipes.
If you drain in your sink is clogged. It backs up. Well when your digestive system is back up
it goes to your stomach , butt, or thigh, or hip . We gain weight.
Then I heard something from one of the girls on Dance with the star.
Forget the name . But they are all size 1 . I miss being a size 1.
She take a tablespoon of olive oil first thing in the morning on a empty stomach.
I can't believe how it works. Like magic. And doesn't both my stomach.
I always use it for cooking. But taking on a empty stomach work so much better.
So if you have this problem. I hope this help you.
Have a wonderful weekend.
And let me know if it works for you. Love to hear from you.

A good friend send me this great blog. Thank you Pam.

I was so inspired by her chalkboard. Of course I had to make one.

I used a old window and thank goodness I already had some chalkboard paint

in my workroom. I painted a piece of plywood and added to the back.

I use used a stencil instead of the markers she used.

Also made some grungy pears and apples.

And added them to a old wood box I found at a thrift store for 50 cents.

I made these and sell them on ebay.
They are so easy to make.
I have made some for Valentines and Easter too

I started out with Peat Pots.
Peat Pots are what you use to start plants.
So right now you should be able to find them.
Then you paint them Red,Blue and white.
I added the printed picture .
You can get the download from the right side of my blog.
I printed them on tea stained paper.
You can make it by adding instead tea
and water mix together.
Paint it on the paper and let dry.
I iron the paper flat so it goes into the printer better.

Use Mode Podge to add the picture to the bucket.

Than I add White yarn to the top.
I added a 11" piece of wire to turn it into a bucket.
If you don't want to make them.
You can also order them from me.
You get 5 for $ 5.95 + shipping
Just email me at
Have fun.
This is great for kids to make too.
